1987
Where It All Began
- Dr. Rebecca Tiew founded the first Tiew Dental Clinic in a humble shop lot in Sungai Pelek, Selangor.
- She began with limited resources but a strong belief in compassionate and patient-centered care.
- The clinic served as a vital dental access point for the local community.
- Dr. Rebecca treated each patient personally, building trust and long-term relationships.
- The founding principle—LOVE—became the cornerstone of the group’s culture.
- Her early efforts laid the groundwork for one of Malaysia’s most trusted dental networks.
1992 – 2000
Steady Growth, Strong Foundations
- Expanded steadily across Klang Valley, establishing more clinics for greater accessibility.
- Focused on cultivating a loyal patient base through quality care and personal connection.
- Dr. Rebecca mentored young dentists, instilling strong clinical values and ethics.
- Founded Nationwide Dental Services in 1998 to provide in-house prosthodontic support.
- Set up a central management office in Banting in 1999 to coordinate operations.
- Laid the foundation for a scalable and consistent patient experience across branches.
- Emphasized sustainable growth while upholding a family-like culture among team members.
2001 – 2002
A New Chapter of Professionalism
- Established ST Tiew Dental Group Sdn Bhd in 2001 to formalize management and operations.
- Introduced standardized procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
- Achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2002 for the Banting branch.
- Became one of the earliest dental groups in Malaysia to prioritize international-level quality control.
- Positioned the group as a pioneer in professionalizing private dental practice.
2003
A Message from the Heart
- Dr. Rebecca Tiew named finalist for the Sri Nona Trophy by TV3, recognizing her dedication to healthcare.
- Launched the motto ‘We Love, We Care’ to represent the group’s philosophy.
- The motto reminded staff to treat patients with warmth, dignity, and integrity.
- It marked a shift toward internal branding and culture building.
- Reinforced the importance of compassion and empathy within the clinical setting.
2004
Leading with Innovation and Purpose
- Dr. Rebecca Tiew was awarded Innovative Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by NAWEM.
- Expanded internal training for new dental graduates, laying a path for long-term talent growth.

- Won the Business of the Year Award, recognising the group’s solid business model.
- Launched One Dental Supply & Marketing Sdn Bhd to support clinic material needs.
- Introduced “My Dental Clinic” brand to serve broader communities with general care.
- Planned the development of an in-house lab to improve treatment speed and quality.
2006 – 2009
Expanding Expertise, Enhancing Care
- Opened more clinics across Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, growing closer to the communities.
- Introduced advanced treatments including implants, braces, and aesthetic dentistry.
- Established T-Group Sdn Bhd to conduct internal and external dental training courses.
- Created a learning ecosystem for both in-house dentists and the wider dental community.
2009

- Dr. Rebecca Tiew earned an Advanced Diploma in Acupuncture & Naturopathy.
- Pioneered a holistic dental care approach that considers whole-body wellness.
- Began integrating natural therapies to complement conventional dental treatments.
2010 – 2012

- Won the Asia Pacific Super Health Brand award in 2010 for clinical excellence.
- Opened White Dental Cosmetic Centre focused on Digital Smile Design and cosmetic care.

- Achieved Invisalign Platinum Provider status, marking strength in orthodontics.

- Launched “We Love, We Donate 2.0” in 2021 to support Hospital Sungai Buloh.

2022 – 2024

- Fully digitalised clinic systems, improving accuracy and patient experience.
- Maintained Invisalign Platinum status, staying at the forefront of orthodontics.
- Dr. Rebecca completed her PhD in Health Science (Charisma University).
- Introduced PLANT Therapy, combining laser and nutrition for gum health.
- Trained over 30 dentists in PLANT Therapy by 2024, redefining gum care within the group.
