Dr Ahaliaa Sachchithanantham (Lia) graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Melaka Manipal Medical College in 2020. She has five years of clinical experience, having received her early training at University of Malaya (UM) before moving into private practice.

She has a strong foundation in general dentistry, with particular experience in aesthetic dentistry and paediatric dentistry, and has a keen interest in orthodontics. Dr Ahaliaa is known for her gentle and friendly approach – she believes in making patients feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they step in and will often win them over with her bubbly personality. Taking time to listen to her patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed before starting treatment. She enjoys making patients smile even before fixing their smiles, and believes a positive experience is just as important as great clinical results.

Dr Ahaliaa works especially well with children, a quality she attributes to her natural rapport as a “full-time auntie.” Having grown up in Adelaide, Australia, she brings a warm, patient-centred approach with a strong emphasis on comfort and patient satisfaction.

Outside of dentistry, she is a proud cat mom and a self-professed foodie who enjoys reading, painting, cooking & baking, as well as staying active through gym, pilates and travelling. She also enjoys learning new languages and can converse in English, Malay, Tamil, Korean and currently learning to pick up Mandarin and Japanese.
