Dr. Louise Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya in 2007. After graduation, she served for three years in government hospitals and clinics in Penang, where she developed strong clinical skills and a special interest in dental trauma management and oral surgery.
In 2010, Dr. Louise joined ST Tiew Dental Group S/B, where she further expanded her expertise in various areas of dentistry, including orthodontics, periodontics, and cosmetic dental treatments. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Passionate about providing comprehensive patient care, she believes in a holistic approach to dentistry and often incorporates nutritional knowledge into her treatment planning to support long-term oral and overall health.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Louise is also a dedicated mother of two boys and a strong advocate for homeschooling and holistic child development. From 2020 to 2023, she fully homeschooled her children while reducing her clinical working days to focus on family and education. With a strong background in Waldorf education principles, she is passionate about guiding parents in children’s education and parenting, making her especially relatable and trusted among young families and parents.
Known for her gentle approach and sincere care for her patients, Dr. Louise strives to create a comfortable and supportive dental experience for every patient she meets.
